Which highway exit is the nearest?
The nearest highway (A8 exit Aichelberg) is approx. 25 km from our hotel. Depending on traffic, please allow an additional 20-30 minutes driving time.
Arrival by Car:
From Schwaebisch Gmuend:
- Take the L1075 towards Goeppingen/Hohenstaufen.
- Follow the road for approx. 11 km to Hohenstaufen.
- In the village, turn into Ailstrasse.
- The hotel is on the left side.
- Distance from Schwaebisch Gmuend: approx. 17 km · Time: approx. 20–25 min.
From Lorch:
- Take the B297 towards Schwaebisch Gmuend.
- Change to L1075 towards Hohenstaufen.
- Follow the L1075 to Hohenstaufen.
- Pass through two roundabouts (2nd exit, then 1st exit).
- Turn into Ailstrasse.
- The hotel is on the left side.
- Distance from Lorch: approx. 9 km · Time: approx. 12–15 min.
From Stuttgart:
- Take the A8 towards Ulm.
- At Wendlingen interchange, switch to B313/B10 towards Goeppingen/Ulm.
- Follow the B10 to exit Goeppingen-Zentrum.
- Turn onto L1075 towards Hohenstaufen.
- In the village, turn into Ailstrasse.
- The hotel is on the left side after a few meters.
- Distance from Stuttgart: approx. 45 km · Time: approx. 40–50 min.
From Munich / Ulm:
- Take the A8 towards Stuttgart.
- Take exit Aichelberg and follow signs to B10 towards Goeppingen.
- Follow B10 to exit Goeppingen-Ost.
- Turn onto L1075 towards Hohenstaufen.
- In the village, turn into Ailstrasse.
- The hotel is on the left side after a few meters.
- Distance from Ulm: approx. 65 km · Time: approx. 55–65 min.
- Distance from Munich: approx. 190 km · Time: approx. 2h 15m – 2h 30m.
From Goeppingen:
- Follow L1075 towards Hohenstaufen.
- Drive straight to Hohenstaufen.
- Turn into Ailstrasse.
- The hotel is on the left side.
- Distance from Goeppingen: approx. 7 km · Time: approx. 10–12 min.

Arrival by Public Transport:
You can reach us easily with bus line 933, which runs from Goeppingen Central Bus Station (ZOB) directly to the stop "Rathaus / Dorfplatz Hohenstaufen". The stop is just a few meters from our hotel.

Buses run hourly during the week and every two hours on weekends.
